Area Police News: October 5, 2011

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Paul Roach, 43, of Bloomville on Friday on two arrest warrants out of the City of Troy.
The warrants allege that Roach failed to register as a sex offender in the City of Troy on two separate occasions. He was turned over to the City of Troy Police Department.

James Bellows, 28, of Fleischmanns was arrested by state police Saturday and charged with menacing following a dispute at an apartment in Arkville during which he allegedly threatened to stab several people. Police say alcohol and drugs were involved in the incident.
Bellows was arraigned in Town of Middletown Justice Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $750 cash bail. He is scheduled to reappear on October 13.

Rigoberto Navarrete, 24, of Fleischmanns was arrested by state police on September 28 and charged with assault following a fight on Main Street in Fleischmanns. Police say the victim tried to intervene in a fight between relatives and was stabbed in the chest with a knife.
Navarette was arraigned in Town of Middletown Justice Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of cash bail. He is scheduled to reappear in court on October 5.
