Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of County Route 23 and Loomis Brook Road in the Town of Walton on October 17 at about 10:05 p.m., for a 911 report of an occupied vehicle stopped in the roadway. Upon arrival deputies found a tan Oldsmobile running with the brake lights on, stopped in the roadway on Loomis Brook Road with a male operator asleep at the wheel. Upon further investigation Deputies arrested Christopher S. Goodrich, 38, of Walton for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving while having a BAC above .08 percent, and Consumption of an Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle. Goodrich was released on traffic tickets and is to appear in Walton Town Court to answer the charges.
