Jeremy J. Degroat, 17, of Hensonville, a Grand Gorge BOCES student, was arrested by state police Wednesday and charged with petit larceny after he allegedly stole a digital camera from another student at the Grand Gorge BOCES facility. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Town of Roxbury Court on Oct. 12.
Corey T. Proudman, 19, of Davenport was arrested by state police Saturday and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to a complaint of a suspicious person outside the Country Store in Roxbury. Police say that charged Proudman after they allegedly found four grams of marijuana in his pants pocket while questioning him. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Town of Roxbury Justice Court on Oct. 21.
William W. Hrazanek, 63, of Fleischmanns was arrested by state police Wednesday on an arrest warrant issued by the Town of Middletown Justice Court charging him with issuing a bad check. Hrazanek was arraigned in Town of Middletown Justice Court and released on his own recognizance to reappear on Oct. 14.
Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a personal injury motorcycle accident Saturday that occurred on Route 30 near Beech Hill in the Town of Andes. Deputies report that Daniel J. Bengel, 48, of East Moriches was eastbound on a 2003 Kawasaki when he lost control and struck the guide rail. Bengel was transported to Margaretville Hospital where he was treated and released. He was issued a traffic ticket for operating out of class returnable in Town of Andes Justice Court.
Brandon D. Grant, 23, of Chichester, an inmate in the Ulster County Jail, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Wednesday after he allegedly started a fight with another inmate.
Deputies say Grant suffered a fractured right arm and a contusion to his face during the fracas. The other inmate was uninjured. Grant was issued an appearance ticket returnable in City of Kingston Court at a later date.
