Area Police News: February 6 2013
Victoria M. Quigley, 20, of Davenport was arrested by state police on February 1 and charged with having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol by a person under 21 when the car she was driving was stopped on Route 23 in Harpersfield for a traffic violation.
Bradley O. Teator, 20, of West Davenport, a passenger in the car being driven by Quigley, was also arrested by state police and faces the same three charges as the driver.
Both Quigley and Teator were issued tickets returnable in Town of Harpersfield Court on February 25.
Kristal L. Hess, 22, of Stamford was arrested by state police on January 29 on a bench warrant issued by the Town of Roxbury Justice Court charging her with failure to pay a fine in a previous case.
Hess was arraigned in Roxbury Court, paid a fine of $355 and was released.
Ronald J. Boerner, 24, of Andes was arrested by state police on January 31 and charged with DWI after his car skidded off Route 28 in the Town of Bovina and came to rest in the ditch.
Police say they came upon the scene and charged Boerner after he allegedly failed a field sobriety test and his blood alcohol level tested .19 percent.
Boerner was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Town of Bovina Justice Court on February 19.
His car was towed from the scene by Delhi Motors and Bovina firemen responded for traffic control.
Taunia A. Regan, 29, of Prattsville was arrested on January 30 and charged with DWI drugs after state police allegedly found her slumped over the steering wheel of her truck which was parked along Route 23 in the Town of Gilboa. Police say Regan told them that she had just started a new medication.
She was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Gilboa Court on February 21.
