Area Police News: February 27, 2013
Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Joseph C. Naccarato, 27, of Ballston Lake on February 17 for driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, and speed not reasonable and prudent.
Naccarato was the operator in a one-car motor vehicle accident, which occurred on Scotch Mountain Road in the Town of Delhi. Naccarato was allegedly driving too fast for road conditions and left the roadway and overturned. Naccarato was transported to O’Connor Hospital in Delhi where he was treated and released with minor cuts and bruises.
Naccarato was arraigned in Delhi Town Court and released on his own recognizance to reappear at a later date.
Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a one-car motor vehicle accident on Scotch Mountain Road in the Town of Delhi on February 9. Sean Wahl, 25, of Wolcott left the roadway striking several trees causing extensive damage to his vehicle. Wahl was issued a traffic summons for imprudent speed and was released to appear in the Town of Delhi Court on February 26 at 9 a.m. No injuries were reported.
Shandaken Police report the arrest on February 22 of Nicole D. Fudge, 22, of Phoenicia. Police say Fudge was arrested on a warrant alleging violation of parole and was also charged with bail jumping. She was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
Lauren N. Mitchell, 24, of Massapequa was arrested by state police on February 19 and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after she was stopped on Arbor Hill Road, Delhi for a traffic violation.
Mitchell was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Town of Delhi Justice Court on March 12 at 9 a.m.
Ruth Holmes, 60, of Maryland was arrested by state police on February 24 and charged with petit larceny after she allegedly shoplifted $73.63 worth of items from the Grand Union supermarket in Stamford.
She was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Town of Stamford Justice Court on April 9 at 6 p.m.
