Area Police News: August 29, 2012

Joseph P. Villarosa, 53, of Arkville was arrested by state police on August 24 and charged with third-degree menacing after he allegedly threatened a woman with a tire iron who had driven up his driveway. The woman, who works for a mortgage company, had driven to the property to determine if it was occupied.
Villarosa was arraigned in Town of Middletown Justice Court and released on his own recognizance to reappear on September 12.
The court also issued an order of protection for the unidentified woman.

Howard G. Manon, 43, of Fleischmanns was arrested by state police on August 25 and charged with second-degree harassment following what police called a domestic dispute. Police also say alcohol was involved in the case.
Manon was arraigned in Town of Roxbury Justice Court and released to reappear in Town of Middletown Justice Court on August 30 at 10 a.m. An order of protection was issued in the case.

Charles M. Albertson, 52, of Windham was arrested by state police in Catskill on August 24 on a bench warrant issued by the Town of Middletown Justice Court charging him with third-degree bail jumping. He was arraigned in Town of Middletown Justice Court and ordered to pay an outstanding fine.

Sean M. Eggers, 31, of Albany was arrested by state police on August 21 and charged with writing a bad check at the Sunoco Service Station in Margaretville.
Eggers was arraigned in Town of Middletown Justice Court, pled guilty and paid restitution on the check.

Abigail R. Clark, 20, of Arkville was arrested by state police on August 21 on a bench warrant issued by the Town of Middletown Justice Court. Clark was arraigned and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $250 cash bail to await further court action on August 30 at 10 a.m.

Howard G. Manon, 43, of Fleischmanns was arrested on August 26 and charged with violating an order of protection that had been issued the previous day following a domestic dispute.
Manon was released to appear in Town of Middletown Justice Court on August 30.

Richard E. Hennesey, 33, of Margaretville was arrested by state police on August 26 and charged with second-degree harassment following an argument with a woman that led to a physical altercation.
Hennesey was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Town of Middletown Justice Court on September 6.

Vincent S. Ajello, 72, of Walton was arrested by state police on August 25 and charged with DWI after he was stopped for speeding at the intersection of Launt Hollow Road and Route 10 in the Town of Hamden.
Ajello was arraigned in Town of Walton Justice Court and released to reappear at a later date.
