Andes alumni dinner planned for May 24


The 53rd Andes Central School Alumni Association dinner and meeting will be held on Sunday, May 24 at the Andes Fire Department Pavilion on Tremperskill Road, county Rte. 1.
Registration will begin at 4 p.m. at the pavilion with dinner following. At 5:30 p.m. the ACS president will welcome everyone and after the invocation, a chicken barbecue dinner will be served followed by a short business meeting.
The cost of the dinner will be $15 per person (this includes tax and gratuity). You will pick up your dinner tickets when you register. Annual dues are $5 for alumni. Dues are from the time you join, not necessarily from the time you graduated. Each alumnus may bring one guest. Please send your registration in early. Dinner reservations and dues must be paid in advance by May 10. Dinner cancellation requests must be received by May 13 in order to be reimbursed.
Menu for the dinner will include barbecue chicken, baked beans, salads, rolls, coffee, tea and cake.
Prizes will be given to the youngest alumnus, the oldest and the alumnus who traveled the farthest.
There will be an election of officers for 2010. Think of whom you will nominate as the people who are holding the positions this year are unable to do it next year.
There will be music following the meeting.
