The University of Northern Ohio has announced that Travis L. Johnson of Arkville has been named to the Dean’s List for the June 2009 session in the College of Technologies.
Full-time students at the Lima, Ohio university must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better to be named to the Dean’s List.
Dr. Ryan Barnes, son of Michael and Diana Barnes of Stamford, graduated on Sunday, May 31 from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Barnes will be doing his residency as a surgeon in Columbus, Ohio at Mt. Carmel Hospital.
Melissa M. Pasiecnik of Grand Gorge, daughter of Christine and Stan Thorington and Philip and Jackie Pasiecnik, is a 2003 graduate of Roxbury Central School and a 2006 graduate of Mohawk Valley Community College with a certificate in photography and graphic communication.
Fleischmanns native Abigail Davis has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by the University of Minnesota. Dr. Davis’ area of specialization is early American literature and culture; her minor field is Literacy and Rhetorical Studies.
Jennifer McMurray of Margaretville has earned a spot on the Dean’s List at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) in North Adams for the spring semester.
William Gustave Fiedler III graduated on May 16 from North Country Community College in Saranac Lake. Billy received an associate’s degree in criminal justice with a GPA of 3.6.
