RCS top student will attend Elmira

Rachel MeckesRachel MeckesRoxbury Central School 2010 graduate Rachel Meckes has been awarded the Valedictorian and Salutatorian full-tuition Honor Scholarship at Elmira College in Elmira.

Meckes will join the Class of ’14 as one of 43 valedictorians and salutatorians from across the country to enroll at Elmira this fall.


On Dean’s List

Kelsey O’BrienKelsey O’BrienAlbany — Kelsey O’Brien of Roxbury has been named to the University at Albany’s spring 2010 Dean’s List for outstanding academic achievement.

Kelsey is a senior psychology major who expects to graduate in December.


Suzanna DiBenedetto earns degree from Cal State

Suzanna DiBenedetto graduated with summa cum laude honors from California State University, Chico on May 22. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in political science.


Season Fiedler earns bachelor's degree

Season Fiedler, daughter of Bill and Dee Fiedler of Dry Brook, graduated on May 8 from Saint Rose College in Albany where she earned a bachelor of arts degree with a dual certification in special education and early childhood education.

Kristina Perazone, daughter of Ruth Ann and Brian Perazone of Roxbury, graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta on May 22.


McColgan honored for computer work at Alfred graduation

Alfred — Sean McColgan of Kelly Corners was a May 16 graduate of Alfred State SUNY College of Technology located in Alfred where he earned a degree in information technology with a major in computer web development.
