Halcottsville was wedding site

Eric Fronckowiak and Danielle Ballard were married on September 11, 2011at Holy Innocents Church in Halcottsville with Most Rev. Francisco Betancourt and Rev. Dante Tarantini officiating.

Matron of honor was Milissa Bruno, best friend of the bride. Cindy Sabo, a close friend of the bride, was bridesmaid.

The best man was Cody Fronckowiak, son of the groom. Harley Jenkins, a close friend of the couple, was a groomsman.

Flower girl was Livia Fronckowiak, daughter of the couple. Ring bearer was Trevor Fronckowiak, nephew of the groom.


Misners celebrate 50 years together

Ivan and Rebecca Misner of Arkville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 5.

Rebecca (Becky) Lillian Gray grew up on her family’s farm in Andes with her father Paul, mother Lillian, and siblings Cynie, Charlie and Gary. She graduated from Andes Central School.

Ivan Wayne Misner grew up in Margaretville with his father Ivan, mother Laura and siblings Shirley and Dorothy. He graduated from Margaretville Central School.

They met in Margaretville, having been introduced by a mutual friend.


Couple wed at Full Moon Resort

Elisabeth Mary Barnes-Schwartz and Lucas William Gustav Fiedler were married Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 at the bride’s family home in Denver/Vega.

Elisabeth Mary is the daughter of Arnie Barnes-Schwartz and the late Marion Barnes-Schwartz of Denver. Lucas William is the son of William and Delia Fiedler of Arkville.


RCS top student will attend Elmira

Rachel MeckesRachel MeckesRoxbury Central School 2010 graduate Rachel Meckes has been awarded the Valedictorian and Salutatorian full-tuition Honor Scholarship at Elmira College in Elmira.

Meckes will join the Class of ’14 as one of 43 valedictorians and salutatorians from across the country to enroll at Elmira this fall.

More Family Reunion Aug. 4 at Roxbury’s Gould Church

Roxbury’s Gould Church will host services for the More Family reunion on Sunday, Aug. 8 at 10:30 a.m. This “Service of Praise and Kirkin’ of the Tartan” is a special service led by members of the John More Association as they provide preacher, choir, organist, bagpipes, family banners and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper. The service is open to all.


Bramley - VanValin Engagement

The parents of Vanessa VanValin and Nathan Bramley are pleased to announce the engagement of their children. Vanessa is the daughter of Steven and Susan VanValin of Rochester. Nathan is the son of Karen Bramley, and Donald and Cindy Bramley, all of Margaretville. He is also the grandson of Ivan and Becky Misner of Arkville and Donald Bramley of Andes.


Cooper Gregory Snyder

Gregory and Kerry Snyder of Conesville are the parents of a baby boy, Cooper Gregory born at the Fox Hospital Monday, July 5 at 1:35 p.m. He weighed six pounds eight ounces and was 19 inches long.
