Tom Kaufman recently purchased a parcel of land from the estate of Vera Baliotti in DeLancey.  The land will be used to expand his Catskill Mountain maple production capability.  The Roxbury home of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Tweedie, built by Mrs. Tweedie’s late father, has been purchased by the Clancy family of Rockland County. The sale was completed in less than 11 days from viewing to closing. The Clancys are avid skiers and plan on taking advantage of Plattekill Ski Center’s year-round facilities. The home was listed by Select Sotheby’s Realty by Associate Broker Ron Guichard and sold by Ronald Guichard, associate broker with Keller/ Williams Upstate NY Properties of the Margaretville Office.

Chris Schmitz of Delhi has purchased Tom and Paula Recinella’s home located on Route 10 in Delhi. The listing agent was Melissa Wakin-Mostert of Coldwell Banker Timberland properties and the selling agent was Rosalie Glauser of Real Estate Plus.

Beth and Jeffrey Woehr of Ocean Township, NJ have sold their Roxbury Run Village Townhouse to Jim McDonald of Montclair, NJ. Jim loves to vacation and weekend in the Catskills and will use this townhouse for weekends and summer vacations. Dorothy Gaede of Phoenicia has sold a lot on Woodland Valley Road in Phoenicia to the contiguous neighbor, Ron Piervincenzi. Piervincenzi plans on adjoining his newly purchased land as part of the landscaping for his home. This property was listed by Patricia Stroh of Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties and sold by Alex Sharpe, also of Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties.  Both agents are with CB Timberland’s office in Boiceville.

School super buys home
Dr. Jaspreeth Sood recently sold her home in Walton to Roger and Robin Clough and their family. Mr. Clough is the new school superintendent for Walton Central School. The sale was arranged by Sandra J. Sheradin, associate broker with Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties.

The Taylor family has sold its house on New Kingston Road in Bovina to William and Elizabeth Luchsinger of New Rochelle.  The Luchsingers are well acquainted with the area as they have a son attending SUNY Delhi.  This will be a weekend home for them and a possible retirement home in the future.
