State police arrested Michael J. Vreeland, 58, of Bridgewater, N.J., and charged him with DWI following a traffic stop in Delhi on Monday, Nov. 10. Police stopped Vreeland after observing that a taillight on his vehicle was out, and upon interviewing him allegedly noticed an odor of alcohol. He subsequently failed a standard field sobriety tests and was issued uniform traffic tickets for DWI, aggravated DWI, first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator and obstructed taillight. Vreeland was remanded to the county jail on $2,500 and scheduled to reappear on Nov. 14.
