An editing error in its issue of May 8 caused the Catskill Mountain News to mistakenly identify Mary J. Batthany, 54, of Delhi as having been arrested by state police on May 1 and charged with DWI. She was neither arrested nor charged, she was simply the owner of a vehicle operated by an individual who was charged. The News regrets the error and any confusion it may have caused.

Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Ronald W. Mudge, 42, of Winnie Road, Mt. Tremper. He was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, a class A misdemeanor.
On April 21 at about 3:55 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported domestic dispute in the Town of Shandaken. Upon arrival, deputies interviewed both parties and discovered that Mudge had allegedly grabbed the victim with his hands around the neck.

Two Stamford women face a number of charges following their arrests on April 8 following a disturbance at Gabriella’s Restaurant in Stamford.

Christopher R. Bracci, 20, of Delhi was arrested by state police on April 4 and faces a number of charges after he was found sitting in a pickup truck that was found facing southbound in the northbound lane of Route 10 in Delhi.
Police say Bracci had glassy watery eyes and was stuttering when he was questioned. He was charged with no seatbelt, parking on pavement, seventh-degree possession of a hypodermic needle, DWI drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana.
He was issued appearance tickets returnable in Town of Delhi Justice Court on April 16 at 9 a.m.

An Arkville man was arrested by state police and charged with burglary in connection with the March 6 forced entry at Now and Then Video on Route 28 in Margaretville.
State police say they arrested Nehemiah A. Clark, 34, of Carlson Park Road, Arkville on March 27 and charged him with burglary. He was arraigned in Town of Middletown Justice Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $500 cash bail to await further court action.

A South Kortright Central School student was arrested by state police on March 21 and charged with criminal possession of a weapon on school grounds. Police say they arrested Joseph G. Leonard, 17, of Bloomville after receiving a complaint from the school’s principal that he had noticed a shotgun in the student’s unattended vehicle.

On March 10 Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 17-year-old youth from the Town of Hamden for two counts of reckless endangerment, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and unlawfully fleeing from a police officer.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 17-year-old Bovina male and a 17-year-old Delhi male on March 6 on two counts each of felony second-degree burglary, one count each of felony fourth-degree grand larceny and one count each of misdemeanor petit larceny. The charges stem from an on-going investigation into multiple burglaries in the Town of Bovina.
The 17-year-old Bovina male was also arrested on one count of petit larceny stemming from a separate incident in the Bovina area.

Christine L. Ruud, 36, of Bovina was arrested by state police on February 26 and faces a number of charges following an ongoing domestic dispute during which she allegedly threatened to kill her ex boyfriend. Police say she also struck the man, who police identified as Scott A. Burns, 46, also of Bovina, over the head with a lamp causing a laceration.
