Pathos Players reading Sunday at DCHA

Delhi — Join the Delaware County Historical Society (DCHA) on Sunday, June 20 for the first of four dramatic readings in 2010 presented by The Pathos Players. This month’s reading, in the Frisbee House tavern, will focus on the legacy of the railroads in Delaware County.


Sanford-Owen reunion held June 9 at Arena

The annual Sanford-Owen Reunion was held Saturday, June 5 at the Arena Firehouse with 52 present.
Doris Owen Ramp, 84, formerly of Margaretville and now of Seneca, S.C., though still looking young, was the oldest person present.

Catskill Park signs to get design makeover

Driving through the Catskill or Adirondack mountain parks, it’s easy to notice that all the road signs are a different color scheme than anywhere else in the state. But now those fairly new brown and yellow signs must come down and be replaced with brown and white ones. That’s according to the New York State Department of Transportation (DOT), working under marching orders from Washington.


Vacation Bible School June 15-18 in Roxbury

Roxbury — The Saddle Ridge Ranch Vacation Bible School will be rounding up all kids four years old and up at the Jay Gould Dutch Reformed Church Carriage House in Roxbury from 9 a.m. to noon June 15 through June 18.
